We've told so many family and friends about our best vacation ever- and that's 20 years worth! I scroll through the pictures and realize what an amazing place this was. The comaraderie with our fellow guests made the experience quite memorable. Nice people to go along with the nice hosts who's hospitality, adventure and cuisine completed the total good time. Mahlua is a superstar and Eric the super chef. An unusual event was the impromtu wedding of our Slovenian couple who decided at noon to get married that evening. We all put together the event with flowers, bouquets and unique gifts. The sunset wedding on the dock followed by the communal wedding dinner came off as if it had been planned for months. (Hope to see some of those pics on the web site?) We stayed for 9 night on the ocean side in the larger bungalow. Very nice and usually a bit cooler than the other side because of the ocean breeze. Definitely a unique place to visit and visit and visit.

Nicola and Bianca
It took us a while to find the courage to go back on the web and check this website. The nostalgy fro Raimiti is so big, especially now that here in Europe the good old white winter is at the door. We had a fantastic time in Raimiti. Eric and Maluha were the perfect guests for every single need we had, and even anticipate most of them. Their example sounds daily as a strong memento that "you can actually do" what you dream about most of your life, and be happy. If you go to Raimiti, and see the Ukulele on the shelf haev a ride and play it, possibly at sunset: it's magic. We'll be back, we'll be back soon. Baci Nicola & Bianca

Eric, just wanted to write a thank-you for our 6 night stay at Raimiti. You and Mahlua made our stay a memorable one. From the 5 star meals and the discovery trips to the pass, the motu picnic, the pink sands of Hirifa beach and the snorkel in the ocean outside the lagoon, this was the best vacation in French Polynesia we have ever had. We will remember Ken’s Birthday party, with Mahlua’s Birthday dance and Ziga and Nina’s wedding ceremony on the dock with very fond memories. Raimiti was everything it was advertised to be and then some more. Mauruuru Roa Merci'

We spent 3 unforgettable days in this fantastic location. We made the most beautiful snorkeling of all polinesian island. All was perfect. Unfortunately we won only 150$ in las vegas and we can not return back soon...but we are still dreaming about Fakarava and Raimiti. Alessio e Roberta

La nouvelle pension Raimiti, entre ciel et mer est déjà une merveille. Si on a la chance d’y aller, c’est un charmant cadre polynésien qui s’ouvre à la vue dés l’arrivée. La construction en cocotiers et kahayas du coin est harmonieuse dans son cadre naturel, ingénieuse et solide. Beaucoup de détails attestent de l’attention portée à la beauté et la joie que nous offre la nature. L’accueil est très chaleureux. Merci à nos hôtes Junior, Elvina et Oura ! Nous nous sommes laissés guider par Junior et Elvina qui nous ont montré toutes sortes de choses tout au long du séjour : - le « papa », le récif, les plages - comment faire l’huile de monoï - les « crayons » des ancêtres - Tetamanu, les âmes du village et son église - La vierge Marie - Les motu « kokakoka » « tetapiri » « tetatonga » « otukaiga » « otetou » - Jojo et les splendeurs de son palais sous-marin - Comment pêcher de multiples façons : à la ligne, au fusil, au filet, les bénitiers à la lune, au récif la nuit. - Comment râper la noix de coco et presser le lait - Le jeune fou qui se prépare à voler ! - Castor et Pollux - Comment enfiler les coquillages dans les « trous » pour faire des colliers. La cuisine est copieuse et excellente. Matin, Midi et Soir la coque marine annonce les repas. Nous avons été servis royalement, avons dégusté des plats délicieux (comme le gratin de bénitiers), l’uru, le fromage, les petits dej fleuris Mille remerciements à tous ceux qui ont travaillé pour la réalisation de ce paradis et surtout les hôtes qui le partagent avec délicatesse et révérence.
